Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd became more confident after her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell by the start of the round. Ladd returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by first-round TKO. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final fight with the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with her ground and pound techniques, resulting in the TKO 2nd round win. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the initial round, and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
