Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. The mother of her child is English and her father Nigerian. She was raised in the South London Council Estate, and then was a student at The Brit School aged 14. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned the BA in acting. While at school she appeared in several stage productions, like King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her acting career through the film Storm Damage. She has since made appearances on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Following that she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the Bambi part on the ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The actress was on both series 2 and 3. Madekwe was the main character in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in theatre comprise Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with her dramatic The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes before it was cancelled on The CW. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. In May of 2013, it was announced that Madekwe, who had played a regular role in the past two seasons, had decided to quit the show after a guest-appearance in the premier episode of the new season. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred as Tituba the television series Salem. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also played a part with her on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletic, played baseball in summers and played hockey in the winter months. Ashley did not walk, but she danced, so when she was two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. It was then that she discovered Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley continued to dance competitively until her high-school graduation with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. The major dance festivals, like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the distinction of "top individualist".
